The "Book of Changes"

Toss Method :
I use in my software the traditional tossing method with 50 achillea stalks, but it is complex and very long. So I give you the modern way using three coins (modern but issued around year 1650).

Take 3 same value coins in hands and throw them six times to obtain the
"lines".
By convention, Heads marks 3 and Tails marks 2.
3 tails = 6 this is an old yin that must become a young yang (Trace a broken
line " - ->").
3 heads = 9 this is an old yang that must become a young yin (Trace a full
line "--->").
2 tails & 1 heads = 7 this is a young yang who doesn't modify (Trace a full
line "--- ".
2 heads & 1 tails = 8 this is a young yin who doesn't modify (Trace a broken
line "- - ")

The first tossed line is put at the bottom, the second line over it and so on up to the sixth line.

For instance, you get successively 6-7-8-8-6-9, the result is the basic hexagram on the left (below). There are several "changing" lines, answer is delivered by the changed hexagram ( you must read sentences in hexagram N° 60 as you will find it in the table here after).

Table of Results

On top of the table the upper or "superior" trigram. (Bottom up obtained lines, the 4 one, the 5 one, the 6 one).
To the left  of the table the lower or "inferior" trigram (bottom up obtained lines, the 1 one, the 2 one, the 3 one).
To the center the hexagram number corresponding to the combination of the superior & inferior trigram (making the hexagram).
In the following pages for each figure is indicated the general direction (the white lines), then the one of the lines changing (the preceded green lines of their row in the serial number from 1 to 6 (blank numbers).
If there is no changeable line, the response is delivered by the basic hexagram sentences only (white lines).
If an only line is changeable, the response is given by the associated text to the changeable line (in green associate to his tossing row in blank), the hexagram tell what the question is about, the conditions, but influence not the response.
If two lines are changeable, the response is constituted by the basic hexagram sentences (white lines) associated with the one of changed hexagram (white lines), one must not read the secured sentences to the lines.
If 3 lines or more are changeable, only resultant figure is decisive, one must read only the resultant hexagram, basic hexagram eventually can give indications on the due to the question but it has no influences on the result.
