The planets stay in Zodiac, they live in houses. When they are at their place (in residence) or with a friend (in intense excitement or in joy), they are comfortable. The "Zodiac" divides the sky in twelve equal sectors, "the Signs". As for the planets, one proceeds by analogy for some to evoke the "qualities" or the "defects".
Thus, Aries, courageous, stubborn, tenacious, drives the flock, chooses the pastures. Hedonist Venus is at her place in Taurus, the Moon feels there well, protected. March and Pluto don't know too what to do at this place, that really lacks warrior activity.
Gemelli, are two persons in one. Friendly and elegant Venus is at her place in Libra, March is not there hardly to his comfort, he prefers to split in the lively one, the procrastination of the Libra annoy him, all as the Sun that finds that elegance of Libra is not enough very visible. Saturn finds there his account, the balance of Libra relations and her friendly conversation let him less austere.
Scorpio, secret and persevered, his angers are dangerous, for he pricks very strong, and often there where it hurts. Pluto is at his place in Scorpio, the underground world and mudded waters suit for him. Venus she includes nothing and the Moon prefers more limpid waters.
Sagittarius, middle a man, middle a horse, dreaming of athletic exploits and immense savannahs, he likes the law and the order, the friends always are welcome to his table. Friendly Sagittarius and sociable is the residence of Jupiter, Mercury is there uncomfortable, his small misdeed return nervous for him about to live close to all what touches near or far to the law.
Capricorn, chamois to fish tail, his ambition to attain the summit does not have of equals that his capacity to hide under an apparent coldness the contradictions of his restless inward world. The Capricorn with mastered feelings is the residence of Saturn, the Moon with the imaginary fantastic mind is not there hardly to his comfort, as for Jupiter, he finds that the receptions are too austere.
Aquarius, humanist and disordered. He has so many ideas each second, that he has trouble to put them in practice, his often very large knowledge allow for him sometimes to establish incongruous links between the be and the things, opening thus new ways. Friendly, he likes nevertheless to keep his secret garden under cover of intempestives irruptions. The Fishes (Pisces), are comfortable in water, traversing the waves of the unconscious, capable ones of sacrifying themselves to nourish the others. They have sometimes direct links with the Divine one. Often synthonised with the unconscious collective one. They can do extraordinary merchants or genius artists (music, poetry). Poorly aspected, their personality let sometimes to desire on the moral plan. It exists a Thirteenth sign, Ophiuchius or the Serpentary, overlapping on Scorpio and Libra (and spreading itself even on Sagittarius if one gives him the Snake as a tail). It is not used in current Astrology, but one can analyze it by the bias of sidereal constellations.
Some does make opposition between Sidereal Zodiac (that itself move of some seconds per year by the fact of the equinoxial precession) and motionless Tropical Zodiac, but it is no use to do this, they complete themselves mutually.
